Shocking footage has emerged of the brutal beating a man received after an Elton John concert in Los Angeles last week, and an attacker has been arrested after knocking the man out.

The victim said he was leaving the concert when someone hit the rear view mirror of his car, where he and his wife were sitting.

When he got out of the car to ask who had done it, a woman approached him and claimed it was her before trying to get her hands on him.

Video shows the man on the ground with his hands up being repeatedly punched by another man in a blue shirt in the Dodgers Stadium parking lot.

When the victim is pushed to the ground after trying to get up, another assailant in a black shirt joins in and lands a heavy punch in the face, apparently knocking the beaten man unconscious.

The man in the black shirt even throws a female friend aside in order to get her punch before attempting to charge at a passerby and snatch her phone.

Although the two assailants have not been publicly identified, a suspect has been arrested in connection with the attack.

The victims also remain unidentified, but have told their stories to KCAL9 and detail the harrowing attack.

‘Next thing I know the big gorilla is coming my way. This guy was complaining about me. I fought back but I don’t think I did anything,’ the victim told KABC-TV.

That’s when the principal in the blue shirt approached and started punching him, prompting the victim to protect himself.

It’s around the time the video starts, and the man says “next thing I know, I see some other legs”. People push me around. My wife came over, she said she was ripping people off me.

While you can clearly see the man being beaten, his wife’s ordeal was also painful.

She said she got out of the car after seeing the crowd forming around her husband, but when she tried to help she was grabbed by the hair and thrown to the ground.

“I felt like I was rammed and thrown and my head hit the pavement so I passed out,” she said.

Her husband backed that up and said, “She was on the floor knocked out, I was knocked out. No one came to help us.

“Leaving my husband lying on the ground to die…if I wasn’t there, if he had a brain injury and was bleeding to death, who would help him?” she asked.

The two men can be seen running away at the end of the video as a crowd of onlookers follows them.

The Los Angeles Police Department released a statement on the incident: “The city of Los Angeles is home to entertainment of all kinds. It is always tragic that acts of violence taint the public’s sense of security when witnessing such events.

“The Los Angeles Police Department is committed to restoring the sense of public [of] safety and seek justice in this case and always,” they added.

The show was part of Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, and the last gig of his sets at Dodgers Stadium was on Sunday.

The 75-year-old singer was joined on stage by other celebrities including Dua Lipa, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger and Jude Law.
